the thing with premium handsets is that they last long, spec wise coz even 2 -3 years later its then equal to a mid-range phone.
Look at the SGS2 for example, 2 years on, dual core/1GB Ram is still sufficient even with the S4 coming out.
Buying a high end phone (quad core) is like buying a Ferrari and not driving beyond 2nd gear.
There aren't many apps using quad/dual core. Consumers has no idea how much is being utilized.
