Razer Blackshark Headset Review | GES

ges-sa.co.za - Razer is no stranger to good quality gaming peripherals. Their latest headset is the Razer BlackShark, a stereo set of cans with an interesting design. Razer based the design of the BlackSharks on a helicopter pilot’s headset, and they look so convincing that any pilot would have to do a double take. The one thing that might be a giveaway that this is a gaming headset is the neon green rubber sheathed cabling, as well as the bright green stitching across the leather padding on the top of the set. Otherwise in terms of achieving an authentic look it excels, which brings us to the next question, build quality. There is a lot of steel used on the headset to give it that mechanical pilot look, and the one concern I had when first picking up the BlackShark was that they were very heavy, and this might make long hours of play uncomfortable.
