That's because they're locked into the Windows environment in their jobs, it's just easier for them to keep stick with Windows. This is Apple's challenge if they want to break into the business sector.

Apple is too expensive for businesses like these and windows . And apple has no advantage on the programs that windows uses for them

Thats because these are full PC's, and double as a tablet. Hopefully Intel's Haswell can drive battery life up, and weights down under 1.5 pounds.

of course they would prefer the windows 8 tablets to the Ipad because it is more productive. The problem is that their too expensive. What I want to see is tablets, ultra books and convertables priced to compete with laptops with similar specs instead of being overpriced.

I agree they are expensive for some people but so is an iPad. The surface 32 and 64gb tablets are the same price as the iPad 32 n 64gb but also come with the touch cover to but the rt has limits but still offers more than an iPad and android tablet for business.

The pro is expensive but it is an ultra book in a tablet format and is inline with the ultra book prices but just like when the original laptops hit the market they will come down in price and they will start to replace laptops over the next 5 years. Plus the pro dose not really have a limit.

Yes at the moment the battery life of the pro is around 5 hours but people need to remember its a full blown pc.

There is a lot of hate for Microsoft at the moment and I don't think its right as windows 8 windows phone 8 are all very good and stable software add the surface is the best built tablet on the market to.

I just hope Sony, dell, hp ect can now take a look at Ms and what they are doing and start to make the hardware to show off windows 8 rt and pro just like Nokia and htc are doing with wp.
