Google launches Android API for video embedding

Electronista: "Google-owned YouTube has finally launched its Android API, which will allow developers to more fully integrate their apps with the world's most popular video sharing service. The new API allows developers to embed high-quality videos without having to route users to YouTube's website. The API was pre-announced at this year's Google I/O, but launched just yesterday in an experimental form. YouTube does not expect that there will be any major interface changes going forward."
