As a "just because I can" project, engineer builds the first Android phone with a Lightning port. Since the iPhone 5, the Lightning interface has been a

I still use my iPhone 4. It's my alarm clock and sometimes I watch youtube on the mobile browser late at night.
So basically, everyone recommends sticking with Apple because they have essentially fish hooked the entire market.
At this point, Apple could literally release the iphone 5 over and over and over under different names, and people would still buy it because...everyone owns an iphone and everyone has too much of their crap floating around the Apple ecosystem to switch teams at this point.
