TechRadar - ZTE has told TechRadar it is working with a third party on another mobile OS to join Windows Phone and Android in its portfolio.
Speaking at the UK launch of the Grand X, ZTE's director of mobile device operations Wu Sa confirmed that in addition to its Windows Phone and Android phones, the manufacturer was researching other options.
Things are still looking pretty bleak for Huawei’s plans to conquer the U.S. market. Earlier this week, half a dozen top members of intelligence agencies, including the FBI, CIA and NSA reaffirmed surveillance concerns about the company and fellow Chinese smartphone maker ZTE.

ZTE, with the Smart Drive, have built a device that does exactly what it says it does and it does it all fantastically well.
Android Authority: "We'd previously heard rumors that ZTE would be launching a unique device in Q4, and now a leaked image finally gives us the confirmation."
