Coolsmartphone - We had a quick play with the Samsung Galaxy Beam during Mobile World Congress. We tried to hold back on asking “is that a projector in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me”, but slightly embarrassed ourselves by asking, “do things work better in the dark”.
Engadget: Unless you absolutely need a pico projector, there's no reason to splurge on a device with lower-end specs when your money can be best spent elsewhere.
they need to just move the projector concept to the galaxy s4.
hopefully this wasnt a test to see what the market is like.
Pocket-Lint: The Samsung Galaxy Beam is now officially available in the UK, allowing those who want to buy the new phone - first shown in Europe at Mobile World Congress in February - the chance to beam their content on to a surface near them at any time.
Cnet - Want a smartphone that has a pretty unique gimmick? Meet the Galaxy beam, the second of its kind from Korean electronics giant Samsung. It's a much slimmer version compared with the original model, and sports a 15 lumens projector on top. Do check out our hands-on from when we last saw it in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress tradeshow.
