Geek: There has been growing speculation as to the details regarding a streaming deal Sony has signed with either OnLive or Gaikai. At first it was expected to be a way of streaming non-PlayStation games to the PS3 and PS Vita. Then we heard Sony may have gone so far as to acquire one of the two companies, effectively blocking the service from ever appearing on competing platforms.
Sony's preorder routine is slightly different this time around.
