Confirmed: US and Israel created Stuxnet, lost control of it

arstechnica write:

In 2011, the US government rolled out its "International Strategy for Cyberspace," which reminded us that "interconnected networks link nations more closely, so an attack on one nation’s networks may have impact far beyond its borders." An in-depth report today from the New York Times confirms the truth of that statement as it finally lays bare the history and development of the Stuxnet virus—and how it accidentally escaped from the Iranian nuclear facility that was its target.

Of-course it was Israel & USA, was there even any doubt.

Yi-Long4335d ago (Edited 4335d ago )

...this should be labeled as nothing less than an act of war against Iran, by the USA and Israel.

Yet another one of so many provocations.

NewMonday4334d ago

their are hardly any "good guy" countries in the world.

countries are ether bad, worse or ugly

Downtown boogey4334d ago (Edited 4334d ago )

How about the countries of Scandinavia, newmonday?

NewMonday4334d ago

@Downtown boogey

In a nutshell. The United States of America are the New Worlds Nazis.

Hitler had nothing on the criminals that run the richest nations in the world.

mt4334d ago

even this, US and Zionists made it looks like hitler is the worst person on earth.
he is not good guy, but US and zionists are far worse than him nowadays.

MWH4334d ago

100% true but there will be many who will either deny that or justify it with mostly a load of bullshit.

SuperM4334d ago

100% true? How dare they attack iran with a computer virus, surely this is much worse then killing 6 million jews. Not to mention being responsible for pretty much everyone elses death during ww2.

artdafoo4335d ago

And I'm gonna laugh my ass off when someone else modifies it and uses it on us. Good going retards.

Flavor4334d ago

Yeah.. every body hypes up cyberweapons as the next big thing, but they are like a one shot cannon - your opponent will have a full copy of the weapon.

dcbronco4334d ago

Not sure what the disagrees are for. It's not like it hasn't happened before. Look at current US history. The Mujahideen was used against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. Then they became Al Qaeda and started attacking us. Saddam worked for us. Though he was never really a threat against us he was attacked and killed. The Saudis finance terrorism but they have oil so we can't attack them.

We can expect this to come back and bite us in the ass.

extermin8or4334d ago

Can see why they did it if it was preventing a pre-emptive military strike from another country and I can see why they wanted to slow the nuclear development of Iran down but all they've done is give Iran another argument to be used against them and probably a score to settle, plus the idea and baseline for how to implement it to countless other organisations; you'd think they'd have checked somehow; how it would react when in contact with a puplic network wouldn't you?

And everybody still believes in fairy tales.
