Every compulsive gambler, alcoholic or drug addict will tell you that they want increasingly more of a game or drink or drug in order to get the same quality of buzz.

Don't know about you guys but I play video ALL the time. I will admit I was "addicted" to Call of Duty for a while when COD4 was popular. Yet I never put real world things aside for it. I'm currently finishing college and looking to get a good job....Let alone a lot of my friends were video game nerds and are all super smart and talented.
A lot of the people that made fun of video games or thought it was a waste of time are having hard time holding a job at McDonalds and wishing they could afford a game system now.
I feel as though i have taken a lot from Video games. Reading the subtitles as a child on games like Sonic, pokemon and Spyro gave me a way to make learning to read fun.
On top of that Games are no different from movies except that you take a role in the game rather than just watch it unfold. This is what people dont like about games since your the one shooting people (in shooters) but there is no proof that this has ever been translated into the things people do in the "real world".
