Hahaha, not on your life. I'd take a Blackberry over Apple any day.

The main reason people pick android is the bigger screen options, going back to iPhone myself and picking the 6 plus, most people I know are going straight for the bigger iPhone6+

Really, that's the main reason people pick an Android over iPhone? AMAZING!

The main reason people pick android is freedom and customization. Something as simply as sticking a micro SD in your phone, or swapping out batteries are insane for being exclusive features to android phones to begin with. Having much better hardware specs. Constant evolution due to competition between Android devices, whereas Apple can get away with anything, since there aren't any competing iOS devices. And if iOS is your main reason for going Apple, you can easily download iOS7 launcher themes, and turn your Android Phone into a pseudo iOS device. As a tech device Android allows you to do far more with your phone than Apple, and it's the same debate as Apple vs PC.

Apple's iOS provides a simplified user experience for people of all ages to use their device, the appStore is superior "in content" to goggle play, the iPhone is a proven and reliable device for 7 years now, and it's simply a pop-culture phone. Those are the reasons to get an iPhone over android.

But as a electronics device Android is greater than the iPhone. It's also the reason I don't buy Macs anymore. I love MacOS, but the hardware you get in a Mac is overpriced compared to what you can get in a similar PC, and RIDICULOUSLY compared to what you can build on your own.

THe 15" MacBook Pro cost $2,499, meanwhile the Dell Inspiron 17 7000 cost $1,549 and offers the exact same specs besides the screen being 1080p instead of 2k (in favor of apple), and the HDD being 1TB HDD instead of 512GB SSD. But with that price difference you can buy a 1TB SSD and still be $500 less, and while the screen resolution is in favor of apple, you get a touch screen laptop with the dell.

The Desktop computers are ever worse. The cheapest Mac tower is $2,999, I built a bad@$$ hackintosh for less than $1,500 and it's every bit as powerful as that $3,000 Mac for less than half the price.

16GB RAM********vs**********12GB RAM
500GB SSD********vs*********256GB SSD
3TB HDD**********vs*********N/A

$1,500************vs********* $3,000

And I can boot into Windows or MacOS on my computer. I like Apple's ideas, but their products don't deliver on performance and their restrictions are annoying.

That's not the main reason. The main reason is price and functionality. For the same price as an iPhone you can get more functionality on Android.

The main reason people buy iPhones is investment in the eco-system, and user experience. The phone backup/restore on iTunes is the best feature of the iOS eco-system, and I feel it is stupid that there is not an Android version that works across all devices (at least there isn't on for my phone on Jelly Bean).

No way in hell I'd buy an overpriced closed iPhone, when I can buy a much better Android phone for half the price.

I've got a great One+ One 64gb phone right now, which was only 300 euro, and should last me for years to come.
