We have these on trial at my workplace, everyone hates them, slow, prone to random freezes, crashing, having problems intergrating them to a windows environment and as you say price is way to high for what it does.

Last time i heard MS has lost something like $1.7 billion on this venture.

What versions of the surface are you guys running? I have a surface rt and now a 2. The rt would start to run a little slow and need a reboot after a few days but that was due to old processor put in it but never had the issue on the surface 2 and I have customers with a surface pros and pro 2's and not one of them have said they run slow in fact they really like them.

For me I've seen lots of different tablet types pass through our office for windows and the surface line is by far the best looking and lightest I've seen so far.

I can see why it could get canned because its lost Microsoft a lot of money but it is really the only windows tablet on the market that sets the standard of what windows 8 should be on.
