With several million daily visitors The Pirate Bay is one of the 100 most-visited websites on the Internet. Despite its massive presence the website does not have a giant server park. Instead, it operates from the cloud, on 21 virtual machines that can be quickly moved if needed.
Pirate Bay founder Peter Sunde has a new privacy-oriented startup. Today he launches the domain registration service Njalla, which offers site owners full anonymity, shielding them from the prying eyes of outsiders. "Think of us as your friendly drunk (but responsibly so) straw person that takes the blame for your expressions."

OpenNIC domains are not accessible through common DNS services, so search engines cannot see them.
yeh I know.. but its easy to add the DNS servers so can find them.. but was talk maybe duckduckgo might add it in future but dont know.. rumors.
but until engines index these they wont take off.. :)
The .se domain is pretty safe for now. They need a court order to take it, and a such hasn't been issued.
