don't care about iPhone's new hardware since I hate their software and it's UI. too bad the X isn't an android device instead, would've bought it day one.
@Fr0sty
Not really, you're getting a great upgrade for the price. I'm not a big fan of apple, but I can get why some loves their products. Super user friendly and simplistic design for the UI.
Lots of people at my office are buying it and most of them has absolutely no clue as to what is new on it. They're just buying it because it's the new iPhone. They don't care about the specs, most of them has no clue what the specs means anyway.
...
iOS users buy an iPhone for the ease of use, not features. as long as iMessage, instagram, facebook and their camera works, Apple users doesn't need much more.
Every single one of my friends that has an iPhone are far from tech savy and can't handle anything new. If it's not where it was the last time, they're completely clueless. Let Apple do the thinking, not the users.
Buy an Xbox One? he just said he got a PC, now that the exclusives are all on PC, why invest into an X1????? unless your stuck with the rotten Apple.
well, with the note problems and now this... Well that's what I like about being an android user, I'm not stuck with one hardware manufacturer. Won't be buying a Samsung next time. Sure apple can easily pull it off since there's no alternatives to a brand new iPhones, but android got so many great choices that I won't limit myself to buying a Samsung.
Goodbye samsung, was a great run since the S3, but now's the time to change manufacturer.
never had a problem with my S5 when water gets on it, even in the headphone jack. It's actually sealed.
Some wants simple phone without all the additional features that an Android can do. Don't blame them for loving simplicity. Most iPhone users I know only uses their phone for facebook, youtube, snapchat and instagram. Just like most Mac OSX users out there. They don't need advanced features and backward compatibility either.
My friend always says, "Let's keep those tech noob on apple platform so we don't have to deal with them" :)
@justy112
common sense doesn't apply to iPhone customers. Most of my coworkers switched from the 5s to the 6 and they had literally no clue as to what was new or if there was any performance gain. They just wanted it and bought it first day. That's the apple fanbase for you.
So if I was Apple, I would keep pushing those hardware every year and every 6 month for S version. They're going to buy it anyway, might as well make some extra cash right...
tried mac OSX on my windows PC as multi-boot, looks nice but totally useless for me since most functions/software I'm using are on windows. I was always switching back to windows, so got rid of OSX altogether.
@thorstein
well said!
I don't know a lot of stuff about the HTTPS protocol so I can really give my own opinion on it, but I think that's their reasoning behind it.
"But HTTPS doesn’t just protect user data, it also ensures that the user is really connecting to the right site and not an imposter one. This is important because setting up a fake version of a website users normally trust is a favorite tactic of hackers and malicious actors. HTTPS also ensures that a malicious third party...
probably with an early leak of the software, the workaround could be out even before the official release date. We all know this won't stop pirated versions of Win10 making it's way online.
The only advantages that I can think about for plasma is the response time being very good.
Burn-in was a problem that lasted years in plasma TVs, now it's way better.
But LED can easily destroy the plasma quality when your looking at black levels and also the white levels. hence better contrast.
That article is freaking awesome! I do want more of it!
the new Touch ID, how will it work with a cover being over it? can it detect your finger prints even through a thick layer of rubber is in the way?

well, the actual hit didn't kill him right away, the guy just continued playing and didn't stop until he succumbed to his wounds. I mean, sure the game must've been great, but just stop playing and call for help geez!
