it depends how you define inferior I guess. The build quality of the actual laptop is really good, and you pay a premium for the OS because it doesn't use serial keys. Ever. Like I said though, to each his/her own.
That's not entirely true. I totally understand the comparison, but I'm a comp sci background who considers myself neither a mac or a PC, but both. I own a macbook, but I can call myself savvy for sure. If you've ever run linux on a machine it pretty much automatically makes you savvy to an extent.
