The title of the article is a bit confusing. Broadwell (afaik) refers to the upcoming 5th gen Intel CPUs and not the latest 9 series chipsets.

But I am somewhat disappointed with their classified. How come there's only 8 phase power design, its memory can only support up to 2666+MHz and it doesn't use any EMI shielding or SATA express. Is this to cut cost? There's no L2N support either. Anyway, I'm still waiting for reviews to see how does it par with other motherboards. It seems that EVGA is tight with review samples for now. Have you tried asking for a sample?

I'm still waiting for the successor of the Asus Maximus VI Impact though, and hopefully an armored ROG Z97 just like the Maximus VI Formula

yes for gaming this would be good + a nice graphics card

I wonder why AMD is focusing on "hot" products. They aren't power efficient or energy efficient. Their CPUs has high TDP, their graphics cards produces high temperature. While other manufacturers try their best to keep their products cool and energy efficient. It seems AMD is doing it the other way around. Fire power?

Asus was the first one to unveil their Chromebox. The product looks very promising. More or less they will have the same specs. Check out here: http://techspy.com/news/145...

How's the Radeon 8970M doing? No driver problems?
Have you tried playing Crysis 3 on it? How's the FPS?

I wondering how though is this curve display. We want to see drop test as soon as possible. Is the curve display more resistant to breakage or not?

yes I think newegg already edited it. so I was not able to confirm it personally. But other tech sites was able to see the $729.99 price before they have edited it.

I wonder if anyone tried to use their d!ck$ to unlock their iPhone 5s :)

Agree, I think the 3GB of RAM is just part of marketing scheme. Xperia Z Ultra and LG G2 is also another option for me. But I think the Z Ultra is too big, and might as well opt for Xperia Z1 or Z2.

or perhaps because the food kitkat is more popular than key lime pie. and besides "key lime pie" is a three word name. Too long for an OS name

7200RPM is better than having a 5400RPM drive. If I can transfer the OS to the spare mSATA in my laptop, I'll get a 1TB 7200RPM for my overflow drive.

Oh, prices where just for reference only and are subject to change. They might have gone down already by this time.

I see, so it was with a $80 rebate. But $679 is still cheap.
