Even with so many volume devices and market share of Android, it's safe to bet that only 10-20% of that market share owned premium phones that had capable specs to even run flash smoothly.i've seen flash performance on my friends Nexus and it's atrocious to say the least.

Lets face it, flash was always crap even on high end Android devices till last year. Also adobe didn't giva a sh!t to optimze flash and make it less of a resource and battery hog. Also flash...

What do you mean by 'who's next?' lol. Android was the only major mobile platform supporting flash. iOS had shunned flash and now Android. Windows phone doesn't support it as well although it still isn't a major player.

It's safe to say flash is dead on the mobile front and i say good riddance. Long live HTML5. By next year i guess 90% web will move on to HTML5 and then we can even cut it out of the destop and Laptops.

And a HDTV is an oversized SDTV am I right? Jeez when will people realize that they are targeting 2 different markets.I won't go out and buy an iPod Touch if I want an iPad and vice versa.

And of course they'll steal more than they currently have!!! What kind of a stupid statement is that? The Kindle fire based on Android came out and sold a lot solely on the fact that it was a cheap alternative to the iPad (It currently has 20-25% of the tablet market share which is...

@RedDragan... You must be blind or a fanboy to say that pentiles are the best display... Do some google search yourself. I've owned a Nexus S and the pentile display SUCKED even though it was high resolution... Text looks pixelated and it's generally crap. I'd pick a retina display of the iPhone or HTC One X in a heart beat over this low cost solution for a HD display.

Add in the pentile display to your list as well... That was more disappointing for me than the looks actually. It was the last nudge I needed to opt the One X over this.

Bigger than everything.

^^^ Good for you. I'd much rather get a better looking phone like the HTC One X. I am done with Samsung. They just want to maximize profit and don't give a sh!t about their products. They could have easily gone for better material and made the phone much better looking (hell they basically own all the fabrication plants, they themselves supply most material to other manufacturers like Apple and they can't get their own sh!t right!!).

Another let down in the phone ...

The crap looking plastic phone is the new king yeah right. Even the One X is better than the ugly looking S3... THe iPhone will blow it out of the water when it releases.

'I for one have not seen a phone game that looks as good as the original xbox.'

Come on that's a bit of a stretch ain't it? PS Vita is a so called 'mobile device' and Uncharted on it looks nearly like a console game. In fact I am pretty sure UC on PSPV looks nearly as good as the first Uncharted (not the 2nd or 3rd.. those were definitely a step up). Even Infinity Blade on the iOS devices looks nearly next gen (it looks terrific on the new iPad retina ...

I totally agree. Before I owned an iPhone, I used an iPod Touch for 3 years and it was my gateway to Apple's Eco-System. I didn't have the money then to buy an iPhone and the iPod makes perfect sense to students who want a piece of Apple and can't shell out big bucks. It's one of the products that Apple actually has priced decently.

Not to mention, the iPod Touch is a tremendous device with it's apps and music player. It has an elegant design as well.

Boy people need to hold their horses for once. Win tablets will be out later this year and by that time, iOS 6 will be out as well, so why not wait and see what major upgrades iOS brings to the table. I feel we are in for some huge updates with iOS ( at least on the iPad becoming more and more like OS X). Apple isn't gonna rest on it's laurels and just wait for the next move. I can already see that 1-2 years down the line, both iOS and OSX will merge.

Also, most of th...

^^^ Yup. They don't force per say, they just don't allow you to install 3rd party software on their system. Hence you are basically stuck with using only IE. In my previous job, the people valued security very high and went as far as disabling the USB ports and updates to their system. They felt Firefox and Chrome with all the 'extensions' could be vulnerable to attack.

Forget about corporate, even schools and colleges don't allow students to install anyth...

Most corporate offices don't allow you you tamper with the equipment and people are forced to make do with Internet Explorer as they cannot download and install stuff.

I am pretty sure 80% of the market who use IE are people who as such have no choice of selecting another browser. The rest 20%... Well they are ignorant (usually old people who care less about the internet) or MS employees.

And what about every other company out there making Android tablets and launching a new one every 2-3 months? At least with Apple you update the thing once.

In fact if you look at it, a major upgrade on Apple products actually happens every 2 years. iPad 2 as a minor update to iPad 1 and even the iPad 4 will be a minor update to this current 1 (Same case here... iPhone 4 was a major upgrade followed by minor upgrade of 4S... 5 will be another major upgrade). If you were smart...

Apple forgot to patch the security hole in iOS 5.0.1 (by which the same guys jailbroke the iPhone 4S)... So fail on their part. The jb on the iPad 3 will use the same exploit. The jailbreakers have now started taking in consumer crash reports which helps in finding the exploit faster. In fact I heard somewhere that they found 3 different exploits which are usable, so at least the next 2 iOS updates will probably be jailbreakable...

Am planning to buy 1 in June... Saw it at the Apple Store today and was really impressed with the display. For someone who likes to read a lot of web content and books, it's the best display in the market.. Scratch that, it's the best display I have seen on a mobile device.. Everything was smooth and didn't even have any hiccup switching between a heavy app like iPhoto to iMovie... Will be a major upgrade to my Tab 10.1.

Again I'll make myself clear... Apple NEVER said they will kill off PC's with the tablets. They merely said that we are entering a Post PC world where major computing happens on the go. I don't understand as to how you interpreted that as Apple saying it's the end of PC/Laptop.

Post PC is a term made famous by Apple at the launch of iPhone (watch the launch conference, iPad wasn't even around that time). POST PC is not only refereed to tablets, but it als...

You don't go to an Apple store and say 'Hey I'd like a Macbook Air 5'. It's the same analogy here. Same was the case with iPods. People just start to refer them in terms of generations... So next year, when the 'newer' iPad is released, people would just go and say 'hey can I get a 3rd gen iPad' or the 'cheaper' iPad.

Like it or not, we are already in the Post PC world as of now. In Q4 2011, Apple sold more iPad (aka Post PC devices) than any manufacturer sold Laptops. This year, with even Windows joining in the fray and Apple looking stronger than ever, the transition will be even more faster.

Post PC doesn't mean it kills off PC. It just means that a 'Huge' amount of your so called 'computation time' (the time you spend on your PC) will now be spent on these devices i...
