The person who made this video is obviously trying to make the OS look bad. The man in the video is either faking the whole thing or is totally computer illiterate. Judging by how the kid (?) in the back ground is acting he must be an anti-Microsoft fanboy. The OS is not that hard to figure out. Perhaps if you have a learning disability it would be. I have been using Windows 8 since the developer preview and I have a very high opinion of the OS.
I have been using Windows 8 since the developer preview and love it. Give it a try and I bet after a few hours of use will have a different opinion than the person who wrote this article. The author must have a learning disability if it took them a week to learn how to use the OS. I would hope the people claiming Windows 8 is another Vista will stop drinking their Kool-Aid and give it a try. It is definitely no Vista.
I am confused with the Windows 8 sucks articles myself. I have been using Windows 8 daily since the developer preview and my experience tells me it is the best OS Microsoft has ever made. I feel like elaborating right now but I do suggest people give it a try. And by try I mean for more than a few minutes.

I presume you do not understand how different the Mac OS is coded in comparison to Windows. Learn a little comprehension before adding a reply like that....
You simply can't just buy one of the top five anti-virus makers, whom primarily focus on Windows, and expect the Mac OS to be more secure. It just doesn't work that way. There may be some software, like adobe flash for example, that may carry the same holes. For the most part security flaws in the mac are different, and as Kaspersky says they are about a decade behind in security.
All of the alternatives you listed are pretty good. I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials for about a year and actually prefer it. I'm not sure if I could say it is better than the others, but I do know I have had very few problems since I started using it. So I say Yay!

I've been toying with the Windows 8 developer preview(PC)and think the interface alone will help them gain a decent userbase. I haven't given in to the smart phone craze yet, but I believe this will be the phone that will drag me in. Especially since I have read this phone will be $100. with a two year contract. From what I have seen and read I will probably choose this phone over the iphone 4S. I could change my mind of course, but I haven't been much of an Apple fan lately.
I just viewed another video by the author. Still can't tell if he is a kid or an adult but with the second video he lost all credibility.
