Yeah i do realise that. But if that is what needs to be done then it has to be done. Its obviously going to take a very long time to travel to these planets. But just maybe by the time we need to leave Earth the human race will have developed enough technology so that they will have spaceships that are able to sustain life for long periods. Another 100-200 years and we'll have to leave.
They already know that life can thrive in hostile environments especially bacteria. They look for worlds similar to ours because those are the worlds that humans would be able to inhabit. We can't stay on this planet forever, one day it will die and we'll need somewhere else to live. Best to start looking now then to leave it last minute.

Facebook isn't even that bad, i use it everyday to talk to keep in contact with friends and find new music, concert tours, metal merchandise, it has so much more to it than just talking to people.

Google emailed all my accounts last weekend about someone in china trying to gain access to one of my accounts. They said this person knew my password but blocked the log in attempt. I wonder if it has anything to do with this.
