So their reasoning is a user could by a cheap nock off. Isn't that the same thing with phones and apps? We could abandon them aswell.
The real reason is economics. It is hard to sell a 64GB version of a phone when you go for a 16GB and put a 64GB+ storage in it. At least be honest about it
I don't mind the selection. It perfectly compliments what is lacking from Netflix (I have both). One thing they need do need to improve is the preference and filtering the prime films with non prime films. Both of those tools are lacking.
The hole is the wrong shape for a stylus/headphone port. I hope the render is true. I am nearing an end to my contract and it would be perfect to upgrade from a Z to a Z4
Is a push for a global vacancies a bad thing? With where Ebola thrives it isn't going to make huge amounts of money for anyone. The Ebola is real slogan was made for what johny5 mentioned. There is a big problem getting the message across that Ebola is a serious problem (which it is for less economic developed countries but not a huge problem for other more economically developed countries). It is crippling some of the countries affected
Actually it is a problem with all tablets. People buy one then use them for years (until it breaks or needs to be replaced). Nothing to do with the iphone but the lack of a major update wouldn't have helped the new ipad
"That's a very thin and dangerous line"
How is it? I don't understand how people do not get this. It is easy to understand. It is basically the same as something that is said verbally that can be an arrestable offence (racist, harassment or a threat) but for things posted online. It isn't up to the individual to decide what is or isn't trolling but the law decides. It is very simple. It is to combat death threats, stalking/harassment and other forms ...
Because the type of trolling these sentences will be given to are those of verbal threats (like a threat to someone's life or a racial remark) or a form of emotional bullying through harassment. This won't happe to the random "Apple suxs" guy but those causing problems that would face similar charges if they were verbal said. There is no difference between a text threat or a verbal threat
I would go so far as to say progression. It maybe progression for Apple but not compared to what others have been offering for some time now. Apple doesn't need to innovate (no company needs to do that all the time) but they need to show some sort of progression in tech. The entire conference was them playing catch up.
Though it could end up like Red Bull. Red Bull as a drink is pretty disgusting but their brand image is fairly strong. They went hard for the extreme sports market and created something completely new. This could happen o Beats if they continue to invest heavily in celebrity endorsement. Beats are terrible but that isn't why people buy them. It is a fashion statement. The only way that trend will die is the celebrities stop wearing them. But I don't think they will because of large am...
An update in the article states it was a mock up and it bloody well looks like one. Like a quickly made mock up
Who needs a smart watch period. I just don't get the appeal of these devices. They trying to create an expensive solution to a problem that doesnt exist.
Couldn't that money being wasted here just have been donated instead.
I suspect crazy boy/girl friends may find this app particularly useful
Changing the name will remove the stigma I has. But that is only a temp solution. If they can't keep up with other browsers changing the name is going to do little in the long run
I like it. The floating heads mean I don't need to go into the Facebook app. I don't really see the problem
Hence education. The UK is getting big on Internet safety and bulling on the Internet from an year age but this only a start. I can see this becoming a bigger part of the curriculum
But this will only do so much. It is about changing a culture/idea that will be difficult and may take many years (not a quick fix solution)
It is great to show backbone but Windows 8 is a complete and utter failure and it will be hard for Microsoft to turn around the public's perception. Ditching it might be their best move. But they need to offer the upgrade free to Window 8 users.
I can't decide if this is pure brilliance or just a terrible idea destined to fail. On the one hand it is cool that I could choose what I want in a phone. On the other hand there will be no optimization as there will be an large number of configurations, standardisation is needed to make this idea work (which will be hard to come by with companies wanting to control a new market), the form factor will not change easily as the thickness of pieces are unlikely going to change (who the hell ...
What I don't understand is the surface issue has a simple fix. They need to make the surface less niche. Cheaper, smaller and more like a tablet. They are trying to bridge a gap that no one wants. What is worse it isn't selling their OS.
I agree. Even though I feel there is no point getting either devices as they do not really serve a purpose (they are highly expensive bits of kits that are not total necessary with normal tablets already out) it would me mad to get the iPad pro version over a surface. I think Apple have really dropped the ball here. If it is going to cost a lot it better do some crazy productive stuff. All they have done is made a huge iPad. It will sell initially but I can't see it doing that well (see A...
