Apple Maps, Sony Tablet P and Ultrabooks are perhaps the biggest of them all, then again John Carter probably lost a fortune for the production company. I think they missed "The Last Resort".
How many people are Tech Savvy? Being a former system and network administrator I have learned that many people lack even basic computer knowledge to an appalling level.
Unfortunately, Windows 8 does not have a classic start menu (let alone a Windows 7 style start menu).
I've been using it since developer's preview and I hate it. Metro is as easy to break as a Linux distro with a single bad code or incompatible applications.
I'm sure Microsoft does not pay SynGamer to like their products. LibreOffice can best be described as "almost junk", just like OpenOffice, IBM Lotus Symphony is perhaps better. In fact, Microsoft Office 2013 reminds be of LibreOffice because of its bad UI and bugs, until the final version is launched, I will rate it as "less than junk".
And I am a supporter of OpenSource software.
Thanks for getting this resolved, couldn't edit my comment above for some reason, a moderator may remove that now.
The BlackBerry tag has been added, can't understand why this is still showing as reported?
Can't understand why Microsoft couldn't provide a native option for customizing the Start Screen. By far Decor8 is the best app I could find. However, it is true that paying for an app is quite unjustified considering that the end user has to incur the cost for both the hardware and OS as well.
Yes, you can say that. The transfer rate is excellent.
Used to write for that blog, have more than a thousand posts there.
Anyone looking to replace their laptop with this junk should immediately see the HD space. Even 32Gb (as I noticed when sufaced tablets were released) is peanuts as compared to the disk space available for even netbooks.
Couldn't really find a suitable tag for this one, the closest I could find was email (since the post explores the topic about people voting by email). Let me know if anybody has any suggestions?
Well I do see a lot of news being posted on TechSpy each day but yes user guides seem to be gaining more prominence. Maybe the forum is simply evolving. More people own gadgets and are trying out new things, this seems to have created an interest in user guides. And to be very honest most people aren’t Tech Savvy enough to even comprehend Tech news.
For instance, many people don’t even know who Steve Balmer is or what kernel changes have been made to Windows 8! But such people will s...
What exactly do you find spammy about the post? I've been blogging for years and just compiled a guide using my experience, a lot of people don't even know where to begin from when making their blog.
That was suppose to happen last year. The same was said "5th of November".
Any additional game suggestions from anyone?
Actually I have seen a recent increase in Bing traffic for my blog. Plus Google is loosing relevant searches due to their pathetic algorithm changes which are simply aimed at increasing adwords revenue. They still make 70% from adwords unlike Microsoft, Apple or Amazon which have various sources of making big bucks. They should start with trying to make Android more profitable and stop meddling with the searches.
The post is about "Video Converters You Didn't Know About". Handbrake is quite famous and hence excluded from the list.
News of losses for Google and Microsoft on the same day. Shows how the recent failure of their policies (hint: Google's alogos and Windows 8, among various other bad moves)
Buy a Windows 8 laptop and install Windows 7 or try finding one with OpenSuse on it and install Windows 7. Most HP laptops in Pakistan come with OpenSuse, which is always replaced with a Windows OS when the customer buys it.
