Yeah $199 seems right. Judging how it has less cuda cores than the 2060 (1920cuda cores) it appears to be cut down quite a bit including the disabled rt cores/tensor cores. I imagine this is why the GPU is rebadged as TU116.
this same rumor keeps popping up from various sources for quite awhile now. I am inclined to believe that at least some of the rumored cpus and specs have some truth to them. Only about a week to go till CES. Exciting regardless.

Eh historically this should be on par with the 1080ti. 1070 = 980ti, 970 = 780ti for example. Being only slightly faster than a 1080 makes this kinda worthless considering none of the RTX features can even be utilized atm. Better off getting 1000s and saving some money imo.

This. Nvidia doesn't mention that the 3GB "1060" has shaved down cuda cores compared to it's 6GB variant. It isn't even the same product at that point.
not worth it. hourly charges. NA/EU only. Let alone most of continental NA is still on Broadband DSL and does not have reliable speeds so streaming services like this will perform extremely poorly

to put things into perspective, an i5 3570K and an AMD FX 8350 have identical performance with the latter sporting a better price/performance ratio. 8350 is also better for the stream if you are using Xsplit. Where the 8350 lacks that the 3570k makes up for is single-threaded apps. google offers 1Gb/s speeds. they also offer tv service. Their down speeds and up speeds are essentially the same as well. But the biggest selling point to most people is that they offer 5Mb down and up completely FREE
though i agree with most of the comments above me, i have to say that i enjoy my facebook. I do not have many friends on my fb, and i do not play all those nonsense games. I use it to connect with family i have overseas.
facebook has its faults, but it does help me keep connected with my family that i have elsewhere in the world where i simply could not otherwise.

i mean the rtx 2080 is marginally faster, offers DXR and DLSS (tho very few titles support these), and is the same MSRP. Unless you want to support AMD or don't like Nvidia idk y anyone would choose Radeon VII.
Should have only went with 3 stacks of HBM2 for 12GB and offer the card at $549-599. Then it at least could make it a compelling option compared to both 2070 and 2080.
