32:9 will most likely be the cost ratio compared to decent monitors. Can't even see how this would matter with most looking to make the jump to 4K gaming.

The writing has been on the wall for a while now. Artists are becoming more self-sufficient when it comes to publishing their own material. Thanks to the internet and better tools artists can get their music to us at a fraction of the cost of what the record companies would charge. The only losers are the parasites...record labels and their law dogs (RIAA).

It is the same thing every year. The companies at CES promote that one "thing" they want to push. 4K has no chance of going mainstream until broadcasting adopts it...which is no time soon due to economics and other hurdles.

Nice...the first two examples of why the world is in the crapper right now. You both either need to grow up or get some help.

This is just confirmation that their hardware is overpriced. They have to answer to stock holders just like everyone else...nothing is given for free.

Really?...Google is not the government? That’s pure genius. /s

Maybe you are just incapable of foresight. The systems in place cannot even support the current population. There are plenty of other issues to resolve prior to attempting this. Just because you could do something doesn't always mean you should. Unless you are talking about education...in your case you definitely need it.

Ballmer had no business being in that position in the first place. It was no different that placing a insurance salesman in charge of a rocket launch.

It will be interesting when actors start copyrighting their likenesses/mannerisms to be used in films....in such a way that they will be able to appear in multiple films simultaneously. Still a ways off of course.

Gives new meaning to the phrase "Piss on it".

Unfortunately is appears Ballmer is stacking the deck to save his own sorry a$$. He is the acting CEO...he should be taking the blame for any MS failure. The board needs to wise up and oust his ass ASAP.

Hopefully they will come up with a better name. I don't think we need another Maxipad commercial.

$600 per year...yeh...good luck with that. I am sure there are some that would have been willing to pay $600 and use the software 2 to 3 years but this is just stupid. So does this put a bullet in educational copies or will they have a special monthly rate for that?
