I wonder how many of these are new to smartphones versus those switching from iOS? I would imagine there are a lot of Apple fans switching to Android now. I'm still on an iPhone 4 but have been thinking about going Droid. Same thing for tablets, I think our next tablet is going to be Android based and not another iPad.
I think your hunch on Verizon is probably true considering Sprint is one of the partners Google lists on their site:

I'm with you! Sony also released a really cool headset for the PS3 but again it was not bluetooth, its wireless but needs a small USB adapter
this is pretty cool, I wonder if games have to do something special to allow the controller to work or if all games will "just work" with the new controller.
I wonder why we need to the USB cable, in today's wireless world, really Sony?

Its starting to feel like 2012 is going to be a crucial year for Nokia. I think this is the year were they climb back on top OR crash miserably...
I use an iPhone and BB, I have to say the BB keyboard and typing is so much better than iPhone. I can write lengthy emails no problem on the BB, on the iPhone I try to keep them as short as possible.
why not learn something from Apple and keep things simple? Android just seems to be way too complicated when it comes to devices and upgrades.
