Let's talk.
1) Approvals - I'm not sure if I gave everyone the bad habit by thinking I should approve everything but it's really important that everyone approve posts from time to time or else stories will end up staying in the pending section and auto failing after some time. I do realize that competitiveness between websites is the number one problem for the lack of participation, but if no one approves, then everyone loses. Can we help each other out?
2) Blog contest - Beyond the usual submission contest, don't forget about the Blog Post contest detailed here. http://techspy.com/user/blo... Haven't seen any submissions yet so I'm a bit worried given that we are just a few days to the close of the month. Let's see those writing skills!

The blog post contest? Ouch...
I've been off ill for a week so haven't had much scope to approve things sadly beyond a few quick cameos. I'll be back to submitting and will of course look through over the course of the day for approvals.
As I noted earlier, I'm expecting to be out of the game for a while. Anyway, I just posted a little blurb in the blog section. Hope you all enjoy!
This is why I think you should have not a Managing lottery. Make it Top 5 people who are in Managing for the month get entered into a lottery. Top 10 or 15 will just give people the chance to win when they didn't do anything and just automatically giving out prizes to the one who approves most will just have 2-3 people battling it out.
I have been participating in story approval lately, and I would like to admit that it is really sad to see some bad content or, rewritten work being approved and worse making it to the top 10 of the day list.
I did some mistakes myself, submitting the content with wrong source, and approving some submissions with bad editing, but overall I do support good teamwork and better ecosystem for fair chance.
