Hello all, here's an update from our NB Community Manager regarding some of the more cultural rules regarding blogs (e.g. hosted on Blogspot.com or Wordpress.com), sourcing, bubbles, and what's to come with our new system!
Read more about it here http://n4g.com/user/blogpos... and just apply a tech spin to everything (ignore everything above the Bubbles paragraph)
Regarding journalism ethics, at no point is it acceptable to take content from other sites and pass them off as your own. Most of those big sites started off small and legitimately, so for those who have small blogs that submit here, please do the same and work your way up the ladder. Journalism isn't an overnight success. Content plagiarism is not accepted here and will be dealt with accordingly.
Duplicate accounts have also been on the rise as of late. This isn't fair play. Many contributors play the game fairly, so please do the same. One of the biggest problems why submissions don't get approved quickly enough is because everyone only looks out for themselves, whether it be to win the contests or to promote your sites. If you don't approve a few stories from time to time, how do you expect others to approve yours? Thankfully this won't be too much an issue with the new update but please give a helping hand instead of complaining.

I like the idea of scrapping the bubble system but the idea of 400$ comment is insane. maybe it should have been a draw between top 5 contributors to make it sound more fair.
