Technology covers a huge range of topics, but for a website like ours, we try to stay on topic with more trending issues relating to gadgets, industry politics, what's happening on the web, and what not. We've also made exception for Science stories as well to boost up discussions. However I'd like to propose that we avoid just a few topics. They are:
- Social Media & Website Marketing (e.g. how to promote your business, how to make a better website, hosting, Facebook and Twitter promos, etc.)
- Free online streams (circumventing region locked content is actually illegal, so that's a definite no-no)
- Warez
- Blog spam (any blogs hosted on sites like blogspot.com, wordpress.com, etc. posting op-eds, articles, or reviews]. Exception is given for blogs that are managed by prominent industry leaders.
- Topics that have some piece of tech related to it but is not the main focus (e.g. Boy steals iPhone, Random dude/object took a selfie)
I'd like to hear your comments and other suggestions as well.

Generally, anything 'illegal' should not allowed, but its a fine line - for example rooting and jailbreaking are considered an enthusiast area by many...
Agree on Social Media and Marketing though, its nearly always Spam / Promotion tactics..
