The Drag Of Tags

A quick update blog here regarding submissions and reports.

As some of you know the site is currently not favouring newer tags for some reason. These tags are being created but are not appearing in searches afterwards and upon trying to add the same tag you're being told it already exists but are not able to do anything about it. It's a caching issue, in short.

Considering the ongoing problem we've had a discussion about what to do and the result is that for now we're going to let missing tag reports go. So do not worry about notifying users via comment or another method to cover yourself as I've suggested to some you recently just do as many tags as you can and leave it at that.

We do expect you to still do tags, so if we find anyone just blatantly skipping tags entirely we'll be having a word but otherwise do what you can, don't worry about reporting missing ones and when the situation is resolved we'll let you know.

Best regards
