The Great Tinychat Experiment
We want to try something cool with you. There is a service called Tinychat which allows for up to 12 people to chat on camera at once and has a chat room as well. Being that it is entirely browser based this gives us much more flexibility than Skype or most services out there.
To make things easier, follow both of us on Twitter so you can join us in the room when we are there (@snoop_dizzle and @syko360). For the first time it may be best if we have an organized time to do so. We are thinking about testing it out with you for the next few days (and into the week since it is a weekend). Come back here to get the password and the link to the room as well!
Over time, as our community grows we will hopefully have a consistent amount of people who want to participate.
You don't have to be on camera and can participate in the chat room if you wish. However, we want to be more interactive with our community and possibly expand from here on out in some really cool ways. There will be some rules but nothing too strict, and there are some things to keep in mind with this service (like if you aren't using headphones, you need to use "push to talk" or else there will be a horrible echo)This seems convoluted now, but it will make much more sense later on. This is basically just a fun place to hang out.
Syko and I will be setting up a room that will be password protected to avoid non members randomly joining. The intent isn't to be exclusive though, simply that it stops our room from being spammed.
This service for the most part works quite well and can get a bit lively once you have people on. I think this could be the start of something awesome.
What say you?

I'll announce the room and all soon.
