3 Simple Tips to Extend Your Phone's Battery Life

Whether you own an Android or an iPhone, at some point you’ve had definitely thought about having a better battery life than what you have at the moment. There haven’t been much advancements in the smartphone battery tech, the more apps you have for your device means the more battery life will be drained.

Here are 3 of the most simple tips to help you get the most out of your smartphone’s battery life.

Turn off Location Services until you need it:

Yes, keep it turned off when not in use. There are hundreds of apps out there that use your phone’s GPS to determine where you are in the world. So, whenever an app asks you to turn on your GPS, just don’t until you actually need to. This will save you some battery juice.

Turn off Wifi and 3G/4G when not in use:

This one sounds pretty simple, right? but still more than 50% of smartphone owners keep their phone data or Wifi turned on all the times even when they don’t need it. This eats a lot of your battery so keep these off until you really need to use the internet.

Avoid Apps and Games with Ads:

Yep, even though it seems pretty tempting to download free apps and games with advertisements instead of their paid counterparts but in reality these ads keep refreshing all the time sucking up your phone’s precious battery life. So, keep these at the minimum or none at all. You can also use Adblocking apps to overcome this situation.

Hopefully, these tips will help you save at least 30%-50% of your battery life. If you have any extra tips for saving battery life then do mention in the comments.
