Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) today announced that PlayStation®Classic, a miniature games console that mirrors the look of the original PlayStation® and comes preloaded with 20 original games, will launch in limited quantities on December 3, 2018, in Japan, North America and Europe. PlayStation Classic will be available*1 at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of 9,980 yen in Japan, $ 99 USD in North America and € 99 in Europe.
Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?
Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.

Rise of the ronin sold twice as much as Dragons Dogma 2 this week...but no articles about that. It's only news if a PS exclusive is being outsold.
wow Sony is Nintend-izing a lot....still a worthy mini-console imo ...these games are pure nostalgia
i wish they used the same controller port as the original, to be able to use the 4 controller split device and other accessories(DDR carpet controller, Time Crisis gun etc...)... i'm not interested because of this.
Cute idea but the 5 games shown I really don't care about. I have FFVII on my PS4 Pro in HD the other 4 is a meh. For $99 the 15 not shown would have to have some must play titles otherwise I'll pass.
OMG...this is real?? official from Sony?? when I first see this news, I thought some cheapfvck from China is making the replica with Raspberry Pi and selling it with the PS1 case. LOL
I don't know why Sony feels they should do this because this obviously mimics the NES and SNES mini but at the same time, it looks like there are huge demands for these mini consoles. the gaming market is in a weird place right now, so who knows.
To much of ff7 Lol
