I'm curious so I'll be watching to see if they finally get some interesting unheard of compelling AAA exclusive games to possibly get some folks that don't own an XBO finally have a reason to buy one.

I like video game press conferences so I'm totally fine with this. I think it's even longer than their conference last year which was about an hour and 40 mins I believe.

If it's new stuff, people will say "what's the point? " If it's old stuff becoming new, people will still say "what's the point? " I'm convinced that no matter what it is people will find something to complain about, even if they spend 20 minutes showing off their new handicap controller people will say, "what's the point? Handicap people shouldn't play games." 🙄.... Trust me, there's always 1, or in Microsoft's case, a few thousand....

2 hrs will be interesting only because there is not much to show on the hardware side. So games should take up most of that time. I know Phil has been meeting in Japan with developers so they may dedicate some time on what came about with those meetings. I'm just glad their conference is on a Sunday.

1 hour and 55 minutes - Talking about the power of the xbox one X

2 minutes - revealing a new car on stage that will be in the new Forza

2 minutes - listing the amount of BC games they have available

1 minute - of silence.

In all honestly i hope Microsoft smash it at E3, competition ultimately is what drives developers to make the best games.

Nice. I'm actually Xcited for the Xbox crowd. Honesty with 2 hours I'm sure they'll have something to offer that'll get me to jump in.

Hopefully its cuz they have a shit ton of games to make up for the drought over the last year and a half. One can wish and hope.

They sure will be able to say exclusive, engagement and metric a lot in all that time.

Then Larry’s head explodes and out pops a game over graphic as Phil commits Seppaku live on stage

1hour and 30 minutes will talk about how successful the beast is and announcement of old games enhanced for xbox one x, old games will keep xbox gamers happy until xbox two comes out.

I know for a fact they are showing and announcing a ton of stuff for 2018-19. I also know the haters are going to be surprised.

Even if it turns out to be another 90 min. event, which is still long, they won't be unveiling a Kinect or another console this time. So to fill in that much time with games appears to be challenging. That being said, I'm very curious.. so bring it on.

I think they will show some 3rd party games coming to Xbox which were previously announced on PS:
ie : Final Fantasy 7, Nier automata etc... I think there will be a substantial " we are now part of the Japanese games Line up too". It was previously hinted at (that there were trying to attract Japanese developers back)
* First party will show next gears, next halo, next forza horizon and upcoming fable from Playground, crackdown plus some other franchise revival like perfect dark.
* There will be also plenty of Multiplayer type gaming like PUBG
* Western 3rd parties reveals like Cyberpunk showing best on Xbox one X.
I think it is what they need to do really, substantial and packed with games. The only real issue is that they still lack the type of exclusive franchises happening on PS. So despite a packed show, and a boost of positivity from the press, it is unlikely to change the way the market has been evolving as of lately. That is unless PS messes up with their new format this year. However they seem to double down on first party exclusive development so they might have got the message.

Even though I think Microsoft needs to improve their First-Party stuff, I always enjoyed their e3 conferences for the 3rd party stuff. I hope to maybe get a release date for Ori and the Will of the Wisp. And since they said they will be focusing on more Japanese games, maybe a release date for Code Vein too.

Please microsoft just show me something good. I just wanna be convinced to buy an xbox. Just show me some cool looking games. The only games that I would get on xbox is KI and sunset overdrive one of which is already on PC and the other now rumored to go to pc. SHOW ME SOMETHING DAAMMIT

MS only shared Xbox games with PC via Play Anywhere because the low instal base of Xbox One couldn't justify investment in AAA game development. Stick the Xbox "exclusive" on PC as well and you double your sales. That's all it is.

So all we'll see from E3 will be games that are multiplatform also on PS4, or "exclusives" that are also on PC. Proving that there is utterly zero reason to own an Xbox.

I say this as an owner or a PS4 and and XB1.

2 hours? that’s a lot of time to show 2 exclusives.. Halo 6 n Forza Horizon 4. Which can also be played on PC. Kinda pointless to own an Xbox One
