'The Walking Dead': Chandler Riggs on What's Next for Carl

EW:
[SPOILER ALERT: Read only if you have already watched The Walking Dead midseason finale, “How It’s Gotta Be.”]

Carl Grimes might just be the future of The Walking Dead comic book. For a while, the original source material has appeared to be setting up a possible leadership transition from father Rick to son Carl. However, the future of TV Carl is far less rosy.

I was shocked at the end of that finale. Never expected it to end that way.

Probably because it really shouldn't have. People are pissed, possibly (pretty likely) even more pissed than at the end of season 6. I'm still looking forward to how they handle it, but this is a drastic change from the comics. Serious changes from the comic haven't worked out too often on the show.

Watch. Carl is immune. He will survive. The storyline must go somewhere.

I am a huge Walking Dead fan and I love the show the comic and the video games.

But I was actually disappointed in this episode. Why is Rick acting so out of character? Why is Darryl?

Why are they doing dumb things?

I'm shocked about alot of things. I hate how they went far off from the comics. I do hope there be a animation of the comic book that actually follows it l.

Great show finale for me one of the best episodes from the entire series, they shoud have stray from the comic source material even more sooner.
