Excitement is beginning to build for Joss Whedon's Batgirl film. It seems the studio is looking to cast a woman of colour to play Batgirl.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
that's ridiculous.
What the flying ^%#*!!! Why???? I'm of color and believe me it doesn't make me feel closer to the character if they match my skin tone. Just grab the character on the page and put it on the screen! >_< There are plenty of characters of color to choose from! Grrrrrr WB.
WTF. Well if that's the case let's give a Hispanic a chance. There are a lot of great Hispanic actresses that could be a good fit. But if i could have a say i would prefer to stick to the comic. Problem is you now have to recast Gordon or make his wife of another ethnicity. Or another dumb adoption story. (Fantastic Four)
How about no
I think the headline is the offensive part. Why not ." Looking for a woman to play bat-girl."
I might be wrong as I'm not up on all that is batman but I thought batgirl was commissioner Gordon kid . So he would have to be ethnic also .. but like I said I might be wayyy off. Lol
