Bloodborne 2. Make it happen.

naruga2575d ago (Edited 2575d ago )

nice Miyazaki .....bring now a game with a more "light" content ala Dragons Dogma or MonHun....you have the experience with third person it wouldnt be difficult

even a great TPS could be coming from FromSoftw that will easily topple any Ubi soft crap ...also i wont be surprised to see a 3D platformer form you (3dot fighter was an excellent game )...ok Bloodborne 2 probably is unofficially confirmed and i m hyped for it (though is the easy solution for you as a developper)

UltraNova2574d ago

Bloodborne 2 or Demon Souls 2 is must... other than that I really hope they are working on a DS successor...

AcidDvl2574d ago

Lmao, you're so pathetic.
I guess your username is equal to your actions on a daily basis...

_-EDMIX-_2574d ago

I would argue with how well the first game did the second game might likely already be in production for PlayStation 4.

Sony has actually publicly expressed they're regret for not paying more attention to the Demon Souls intellectual property when Dark Souls took off.

So it actually tells me that they are likely to release a second demon souls or blood-borne whenever they get the chance.

Bathyj2574d ago

why are you like this?

lxeasy2574d ago

Make Bloodborne 2 multiplatform, more need to experience that amazing game!

BLKxSEPTEMBER2574d ago

You must want to get E killed lol. The insane PS fanboys will hunt you down for even mentioning Bloodborne and multiplat in the same sentence.

Dragonscale2574d ago

@black, and the xbots and nintendo fanboys wouldn't do the same for halo and zelda? Of course not /s.

tyasia02574d ago (Edited 2574d ago )

You got your messaging mixed up, your supposed to say "Japanese games suck and I wouldn't buy them anyway"

That's the proper messaging from Xboners.

ocelot072574d ago

Well if you believe all the talk about PS4 exclusive coming to PC via PS Now. You could always wait for it to come onto that. It could be a bit of a wait. Am still waiting for Demon's Souls to appear on that service.

LexHazard792574d ago (Edited 2574d ago )

@tyasia0, lmao...talking about mixed messages. And got Xboners coming out your mouth. 😂

lxeasy2574d ago

Damn I did not expect this much hostility from the PlayStation fanboys. Calm down all I was saying is that it was an awesome game that I think more gamers should get a chance to play. I did not know Sony owned it it's a great IP none the less.

_-EDMIX-_2574d ago

😂😂😂 28514;

Why would Sony do that?

JasonKCK2574d ago

Just wait for Bloodborne to be on PSNow PC if you don't mind the lag.

Captain_Tom2574d ago

Just get a god d*mn PS4 lol.

ChiefofLoliPolice2574d ago

Only one like and 74...Err..Ehh 75 dislikes now. Wow you know you said something really stupid.

Goldby2573d ago

heres another option.

buy a ps4

Armored Core please.. need a mecha game in ps4

InKnight7s2574d ago

If u want something free just create JPN account and download free Gundam game its fun but, u know never gonna understand a thing except the picture XD.

formanbradley2574d ago

Don't kill me, but can Bloodborne just be its own thing? I want an alien-technology planet "Soulsborne" if anything. It would probably have a super cool colour palette, enemy design, and lore options.

gangsta_red2574d ago

Yes, something H. R. Giger inspired. Imagine something like an Alien story but with an eastern spin, especially from these guys.

DeathtoOtakuDJ2574d ago

Not Alien like, but try "The Surge"

formanbradley2574d ago

Those blue mushroom guys from BB are along the lines of what I was thinking... more "celestial being" than alien.

GrubsterBeater2573d ago

@gangsta

I don't know why you got disagrees with that comment, because that sounds amazing.

They did H.P. Lovecraft inspired with Bloodborne. H.R. Ginger themed Souls game would be amazing, and I actually thought of the same thing around the time Bloodborne released. Would be awesome.

PurpHerbison2574d ago (Edited 2574d ago )

If you played through Bloodborne and followed the lore you will realize there is absolutely no room for a Bloodborne 2. Old Hunters DLC wrapped it up beautifully. All it would be is a forced entry to the series, much like Dark Souls 2. Instead, i'd like to see them try a new unique Souls style game. Bloodborne was new, it was amazing. Now they should try their hand again at something new instead of milking.

dp2774072574d ago

@PurpHerbison
but the true ending had you turn into the squid which i think if i recall is the true form of a baby great one or whatever they are called so why couldnt it continue the hunt from someone else's perspective or maybe what we seen being the great moon presence was really just a drop in the bucket when it comes to the hierarchy also I know i'm not including the old hunters but as the name implies fuck old people lol

-Foxtrot2574d ago

Yes, yes and yes

Or maybe a new game with a different theme.

Bloodborne felt like the Souls game but in a Gothic/Old Victorian styled setting so it would be nice to see the "Souls" formula go to other places.

Present Day, Future, Space, Egyptian, Nordic, Aztec, Noire

UltraNova2573d ago

I would love to see From soft mixing the soulsborne formula with Greek mythology...there's so much potential there! If not something space-oriented would be great as well.

LAWSON722574d ago

Instead of Bloodborne 2 I would love to see just another Souls inspired new IP.

zodiac9092574d ago (Edited 2574d ago )

@JMaine518 Gonna be at E3 2017, CALLING IT NOW. Then All of a sudden after the trailer, they shadow drop the release date is IN FACT THAT SAME night. Shawn Layden drops the mic, crowd goes insane, and he then moonwalks off stage, standing ovation.

Deep-throat2575d ago

Love this man's games, hopefully his next one is a multiplatform game.

Overload2575d ago (Edited 2575d ago )

2 are PS4 exclusive, 1 is multiplatform.

Majin-vegeta2575d ago

Isn't one of them a PS4 JRPG?

naruga2574d ago

@Deep Throat ...you got your multiplatform -->DS3 ..now its time for another PS4 exclusive ..

Overload2574d ago

JRPG as in a Japanese developed RPG.

Gamesgbkiller2574d ago

When did they say 2 ps4 exclusive ?
I missed it.

TWB2574d ago

2 exclusives? I have only heard that they will make exclusives, but haven't specified any numbers.

If that is correct, its gonna suck for others, since I would wager that the Armored Core reboot is the multiplat game, and whatever "Dark Fantasy" game they were working on, is a exclusive.

SilverDemon2574d ago

UMBASA:remastered
^this is all I need

robtion2574d ago

Still my favourite game on ps4.

Lightsbane2573d ago

Fear the old blood.

Good thing one of them didn't, or this game would've been a lot more boring.

KwietStorm_BLM2574d ago

I hope one of them is a new engine.

MyDietEqualsGames2574d ago

Yeah, cause the Framepacing Engine needs to be scrapped or upgraded. lol.

PurpHerbison2574d ago

Too many scrubs say the games run perfect so the people with actual complaints get drowned out. It happens every single Souls release. We get ignored.

HallowedSoul12574d ago

yeah bloodborne had awful fps. fromsoft really do need to take some sort of framerate course taught by naughty dog or guerrilla games. lol.

TWB2574d ago

@PurpHerbison

Ehh, part of it is the fact that From has never made technically sublime games, and Bloodborne probably does perform the best from the bunch. By their standard, the performance is pretty decent.

I get what people mean when they say it doesnt perform well, but it really is not "terrible". There were so many games last gen that actually ran really bad.

That said, if they did get rid of the pacing issues, and improved FPS a little more, that would be awesome!

1908-PB2573d ago

TWB----"Bloodborne probably does perform the best from the bunch" oh really now i must have hit my head as well because i almost thought that 20-30 frames is better than 60+ lol

BLKxSEPTEMBER2574d ago

Yes The Souls Series needs a vacation. Don't get me wrong I love and beat all Souls games but I think after Souls 3 they need to come up with something new and fresh. I would love a Bloodborne 2 with more than ONE expansion this time!!

formanbradley2574d ago

Ask not, my friends, for a game with more DLC. Ask for a more complete experience.

BLKxSEPTEMBER2574d ago

Bloodborne was a complete game imo. I enjoyed the DLC and wanted more

PurpHerbison2574d ago

You said you want something new and fresh, then say you want Bloodborne 2? Bloodborne needs to be left alone. Would hate to see BB get the Dark Souls treatment where they just milk a game that never needed sequels.

nitus102574d ago

Could try something like the Kings Field series. Those games were FPS although it would not be that difficult to allow both first and third-person perspective gaming like what was done with Oblivion and Skyrim since you could switch at any time. It is even possible to allow CoOp and PvP. All the Kings field games like the Souls series and Bloodborne had a story however it was up to the player to find one.

TWB2574d ago

Im agreeing, only because Bloodborne doesnt seem to be built in a way that it can be expanded well. Sure there are other locations and lore in the game, but like Dark Souls, those places were never meant to be explicitly explored. Bloodborne is story wise finished.

Neither really was the original Dark Souls that expandable, so sadly some of the stuff later felt like retconing some story points or ideas. I do like that they did try to make every game different conceptually in terms of their stories (first was rekindling the fire, therefore extending the existence of humanity, then was the search for the cure or escaping the cycle, last was ending the endless cycles or finding resolve in other ways). Havent played through The Ringed City yet, though.

I would rather like to see a new series/trilogy that can be expanded easily, and ended at a good point. Hopefully so that it doesnt go through the same things as Dark Souls did.

Goldby2573d ago

@TWB

If goign by the true ending of bloodborne, not it isn't done, you take the place as the baby Great One in the arms of the Doll.

Miss_Weeboo2574d ago

idk about that. You got something good going on. I agree that Dark Souls is done, but the Souls philosophy should go on: Hardcore, Great level Design, influenced by mythology/archetypes and sht.

Former Blizzard President Suggests Players Should Have Option to Tip Developers

Former Blizzard president Mike Ybarra recently suggested an interesting concept that has sparked a debate among gamers - the idea of being able to tip developers after completing a game.

LG_Fox_Brazil1d 21h ago

If I had a 100% way to be sure that this money would go to a fund or a reserve dedicated only to the guys who develop the games, be them designers, artists, programmers and so on, I could think about it.

But we all know that this 'tip' would only end up in a publisher's CEO pocket to buy a new yacht, so, no, I ain't tipping anyone anytime soon on this industry

neutralgamer19921d 1h ago

Exactly these companies were raising money for good causes and gamers were donation and come to find out they are keeping a good chunk of be pie

PapaBop16h ago

Yeah tip your developer, 5% proceeds go to developer, 95% to the publisher or whoever. Isn't tipping for staff not making minimum wage? How about they just pay their developers properly and like you know, give them fair bonuses? Too much to ask from Blizzard these days, Kotick saw to that and is now laughing all the way to the bank.

MrDead1d 1h ago (Edited 1d 1h ago )

It's the t**ts at the top looking at ways to cut devs wages and get the players to tip them like waiting staff, and I'll guarantee a percentage is skimmed and kept by Activision Blizzard. This is 100% for shareholder and CEO playouts.

Popsicle1d ago (Edited 1d ago )

I have to agree with this. On the surface tipping devs sounds like a great idea, but in the end it leads to pay cuts and subsidization of pay. Tips then become an expectation or the devs “can’t make a living.” Lastly, especially in the US, tip culture has gotten out of control, and it serves as an excuse not to properly pay employees. Sounds good but doesn’t end well.

drizzom1h ago

@ Popsicle

I think your right on the nose with how much tipping has become rampant. Instead of it being a relationship directly between the customer and the developer or employee, it now has a middle man ingrained in the system. DoorDash is one example. It ends up becoming a metric where the company can measure 'just how much more money you are willing to part with' before raising the price on the main product.

1Victor21h ago

Uh so they’re trying triple dip or more we buy the game that they’re already withholding/cutting content for dlc we was told that season pass would help the developers thrive we felt for it.
Now on top of all that plus their sales bonus they want tips enough is enough whatever happens to you create/built a good game get a bonus for sales milestones you care about your game and community we reward you with more sales not for doing 3/4 of a game then save the other 1/4 for dlc and passes after

raWfodog19h ago

The 'tip' is me buying your game in the first place.

S2Killinit16h ago

Very well said. If it was possible to send the money to either the developer or some organization for the betterment of gaming, sure. But we all know that will not be the case.

Rynxie14h ago(Edited 14h ago)

No, it would go to those on the top. They will still fire developers, have a bunch of microtransactions, raise prices of games and so on.

So they eventually don't pay their workers and depend on our tips to pay them like the case with waiters!

Deeeeznuuuts1d ago

That kind of practice is only normal in the states, as far as I know anyway, what a backwards system

H923h ago

No it's as well in a every country that wants to amercanize

bloop21h ago

Ireland is literally the first stop across the pond and we don't have a tipping culture. The only establishments here that would expect a tip are the tourist haunts that Americans visit. Other than that, you might tip in a restaurant as a sign of gratitude for great service and waiting staff would be paid a full wage anyway.

Rebel_Scum15h ago

Tipping is not customary iin most countries dude. Get a passport lol.

Jin_Sakai1d 19h ago

Is this a joke? How about the big wigs giving up some of their pay for their hard working developers.

MrBaskerville1d 1h ago

Maybe the CEO could earn his money based on tips.

mastershredder1d 19h ago

good god. The devs are not baristas dude. Total 1% ideals. Fing Chadosaurus.
