This is gonna end up like the Wii U. They claim it has big third party support (like they did with the Wii U at launch), but they will port one or two games from PS4/X1 for it and then everyone is gonna abandon it once they see their games doesn't sell.

I don't know what to think, I got burned on the Wii U..... remember the Zelda that was shown for the Wii U . That never came out, look we still can't play it. So they can show all the games they want. Not until it has a launch date confirmed. And still I won't believe Nintendo.

I think people may need to look up what the word teaser means. Were people expecting to be shown all the launch games and every single feature of the NX in what Nintendo clearly called a teaser? Also, this Bethesda not confirming thing was clearly Nintendo as other companies released statements that read the exact same as if they were provided by Nintendo. They don't want to release more info so they don't want other companies doing it either. I think that's pretty stupid, but I'm also pretty sure that's what's happening.

zelda alone is the best lineup ever. Cause it can be as good as Zelda for N64.It looks that good. So we can see a next N64 Generation. I really hope so. Mario looks like it could be the next free open world 3d mario again. And mario kart can be a perfected verion of mario kart 8 with maybe a Battle arena mode that is fun=)

If they release everything at launch what will they have for the holidays? Zelda, the Basketball game, with Splatoon and Mario Kart which are the same games from Wii U but with extra content. A few unannounced games will be added though. Skyrim and new Mario will be for holidays to me. So not the best launch ever imo but it is a great launch.

Until Nintendo get games like Gears of War, Uncharted, Horizon, Forza, Halo (yes I know, Microsoft and sony exclusives, just making an example of games that are big), then the Switch will be worth it.

This article is based on the titles shown in the reveal trailer, but isn't it better to wait until Nintendo confirms what titles will be available at launch, otherwise the author is just guessing.

No, Nintendo is just doing another gimmick. Sure it will sell to Nintendo enthusiasts, but it will fail to catch on to core gamers.

Companies like Nintendo need to stop reading reports where console gaming is lumped in with mobile gaming. Console gamers are vastly different than the crew that plays Candy Crush, Farmville or Kim Khardashian games on their cell phones.

I haven't owned a Nintendo console since 1996, but I grew up loving the company. Its too bad they are run by that idiot Reggie Fils-Aime that cannot for the life of him realize that if Nintendo just made a simple console that had similar specs to the competition, they would crush. Imagine Mario, Zelda, Metroid sprinkled in yearly with regular ports of COD, Battlefield, and all the other great 3rd party series.

Mario won't be a launch. They always tease a new Mario for new hardware but it's never a launch game. Just because they showed a total of about 6 seconds of game play doesn't make it a guaranteed launch.

Skyrim is not actually confirmed to be coming out on Switch by Bethesda yet. So it's still a guess. I'd say a good one though and not a whole lot of reason to doubt it. I'm super excited for this console.

But there is simply no chance in hell they're releasing a brand new Mario game on the same day as a brand new Zelda. None.
And I'm quite happy with that. I'd much rather have Kart, Splatoon and 3D Mario split over the remainder of 2017.

Dude, if they launch with Zelda Breath of the Wild, Skyrim Remastered, a new Mario, Splatoon 2, Pikmin 4 and a few Wii U remasters like Mario Kart 8 and Smash, and a handful of 3rd parties, that would be an absolutely incredible launch.

I mean everyone was praising the ports and remasters for VR launch, like DriveClub and ports of Eve Valkyrie... all I heard was how amazing the launch lineup was. Full of indies, ports and $20 games sold full price. Surely these people wouldn't praise ports on one system but cry foul on another... never

i want it less the more i read about this switch .... may flip that switch off, as the little i game when mobile my phone can take care of that..... i am more interested in PSVR , to me that is the biggest game changer as it is a major shift in gaming for the consle space .... to me the Nintendo dosnt no what it wants to be so (and i hope im wrong) so it wont be the best hand held or standard console nintendo could have made but something in the middle ..... to me this is a silly move as they had hand held market with the DS ...... thay needed a kick ass console.... so thay have turned their hand held and there console into the same device ......(

No third party game shown on the trailer has been confirmed is just like when Nintendo first reveal the Wii U they shown a bunch 3rd party games that didn't make it to the system, so just cause you see Skyrim and NBA2K17 on the trailer doesn't mean it coming out on the switch
