I think what he is trying to say in a round about way is that it is indeed 'BONE US' content meaning they are charging us extra just to get it anyway. These devs have gotten really bold nowadays and they think they are doing us a favor by charging us for every little thing they decide to craft in every conceivable way.

The so-called 'bonus' content is not a bonus because Activision is charging us for it. I resent it being referred to as a 'bonus' as though they are doing us a favour when they are ALSO effectively forcing gamers to purchase a game they may not want - 'Infinite Warfare' for a game they do - 'Modern Warfare' (2016).

Can you guys read? You will get extra maps in Supply drops for MW. They said this back when they announced the remaster and to think you call yourselves COD fan boys!

Last COD game I get just for MW Remastered. After that I close the book on COD. Started it back in 2003 so I guess 2017 is likely my last year with the blockbuster franchise.

I see people complaining because he used the words "bonus content". I however do look at it as bonus content because a lot of people spend $110 every year on Call Of Duty and the Season Pass Map Packs. This is $100 for COD Infinite Warfare, the Season Pass and COD 4 Remaster. That's one heck of a deal.
People will complain, but I actually am excited to play the campaign on Infinite Warfare, and obviously dive back into COD4's campaign and fabulous multiplayer.

Options people, that's all this is. Game on!

So much negativity here you people need to calm down. It's a sales tactic used by all sorts of businesses and it's a smart move. You don't want infinite warfare, don't buy it, very simple. But don't get huffy and puffy while everyone else enjoys it along with modern warfare remastered. They will eventually sell it separately so just sit patiently and wait your turn.

bonus content=paying extra $20? how come? someone should tell activision that bonus content is usually free. but i will be honest i would love for activision to remaster the trilogy for both modern warfare and black ops

I do agree going to a 3 years cycle has allowed the past few COD to be really good(after ghosts they went to 3 year cycle and advance warfare was the 1st game that came out of the 3 years development window and it was very good entry)

Buying a Call of Duty game (at this stage in the game) is equivalent to having zero concern over how it negatively impedes the market and the studios it influences.

This is in no way bonus content. It's a half measure, behind a paywall, only accessible when purchasing a heightened version of a game that's a fragment of the quality it once was.

Just kills me, you know Activision reads message boards and such, they know their fans are furious about not being able to buy it separately. So their response? Some PR spin bullsh*t. Because they're like f*ck em, these idiots will buy it anyway. Which shows a total lack of respect for their consumers. But unfortunately they're probably right. Lots of people online bitching about it are gunna turn around on opening day and buy the bundle anyway. They treat us like this because they can, if people truly voted with their wallets instead of just talking about it these kind of practices would have died out a long time ago.
