Why are Android users less engaged than iOS users?

Gigaom: Android shopping traffic over the holiday lagged iOS even though there are more Android smartphones. We look at why Android still produces far less engagement than iOS and what might be contributing to the gap.

its because apple users are essentially sheep.

I prefer to use a laptop while people will use their phone.
I Know people that watch netflix on thier iphones instead of using a laptop.

and Android has a meh battery, using some apps will wipe you out in 2 hours, which is a no go if you have to use your phone for the rest of the day.

I find it better to use a pc get it done in 1 min, than being lazy and using my phone to do the same thing which will take 3-10 mins.
