I Ditched Google for a Week

Slate: It was astonishingly easy to quit Googling. In Chrome, Google's Web browser, I clicked a couple buttons in the Settings tab, and voilà, my default search engine was Bing.

The story is too old to be commented.

I agree, Bing is too busy for my liking. There is something beautiful about Google and how simple it is.

Also, I've noticed that you never post more than one line. I guess you must really want to win the comment lottery.

Bing going integrate FB and Twitter but still like Google. I just like Doodle....

And

I don't want to post like story, For me comments should be small, only thing is you have to tell your opinion on article.

I think whoever post in Tech Spy want to win Comments lottery..

It's interesting that you give Google so much praise, yet they have much more information about us than Facebook or Bing combined together. Think about how many services we use that belong to Google... Gmail, Search, Docs, Analytics, Reader, etc. All those programs are silently building a profile about us as well. The only reason I prefer Google over Bing right now is because it gets the job done much more efficiently.

And as for the comment contest, a lot of people do post for the genuine interest of tech. I should add as well that you could be DQed if your comments are really short (just for the sake of winning).

Wasn't Bing copying search results from Google the other day? And soon to come Facebook integration... no thanks Microsoft.

Yep so even if you could give up google.com, you can't give up the plethora of other unique services.

youtube, for one.
