Gadgehit.com writes: "The UK’s equivalent to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), has had its website taken down by hackers once again. SOCA confirmed that this was a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack, which is a temporary inconvenience, but does not pose any major security risk. It’s unknown who the culprits are but it is possible that Lulzsec, who organised a very similar attack last June, could be involved."

CNET: "LulzSec hacker Hector Xavier Monsegur -- aka 'Sabu' -- may walk out of court a free man on Tuesday. In a memo filed this week in a US district court, prior to Monsegur's scheduled sentencing on May 27, government attorneys say that because of his "extremely valuable and productive" work as an informant for law enforcement, Monsegur should be spared a long prison term."
