Cnet: Not counting its tablet uses, Samsung's proprietary PLS panel technology so far has called just one monitor home, the S27A850D. The S27A850D is geared toward professionals; however, Samsung has now decided that consumers are ready to experience the wonder of PLS as well, with the Samsung SyncMaster S27B970. Samsung was kind enough to send over a preproduction sample of the unit so that I might get an early impression before the monitor's planned June release.
