Oh god, it even has the PlayStation symbols, this is shameful.

Are you talking about the little arrows on the thumb pad and the use of "X", Square, Triangle and Circle opposite? It works and it is recognizable to gamers- what is wrong with it?

I would mention something about how controllers over the years have featured copying across the board but I would rather have an intelligent debate with you about this stuff rather than us degrading into "rip-off"/"It works" comments back and forth.

mushroomwig1676d ago

I'm not even sure how they can get away with that since those symbols are a PlayStation copyright;

burn... do you still want to have your intelligent debate? Lol

@mushroomwig

That specifically mentions the use of Triangle, Circle, X, and Square in print and in that order. As far as by themselves alone they are just general shapes, in fact too general to have a copyrights or trademark on individually.

However, the specific arrangement and coloring as they appear on all the DualShock controllers, the PSP and Vita IS trademarkable and copyrightable. Since this company changed the look slightly and also the arrangement, they skirt around violating any trademarks or copyrights, but just barely.

Without a doubt this is a straight copy and paste of the Vita. A blind man could even see that. What's sad about this whole situation is that they are using the design to fool less knowledgeable people into purchasing the product. This is just like those cars in China that look almost exactly like european brands such as Mercedes and BMW, but are just complete ripoffs.

majiebeast1676d ago (Edited 1676d ago )

Wow JXD you just basicly ripped off the entire playstation vita from button to overal design. First i thought i was looking at a white psvita.

Agent_00_Revan1675d ago

What the hell am I looking at? its a PSP running Android. kind of cool....ish, but the specs suck, and it doesnt even have the 2nd analog stick.

dboyman1675d ago

If they wanted to rip off ps vita should have copied second analog stick....
