Gadgehit.com writes: "Microsoft has agreed to sell around 650 patents to social networking website, Facebook, to the tune of $550 million. The patents in question come from a patent portfolio that Microsoft purchased from AOL earlier this month. The patent portfolio, which contained around 925 patents, was bought by Microsoft for $1.06 billion.
