It's a game console everyone.

MoveTheGlow1769d ago

If it's just an iTunes game console, then eh, whatever. If it's an iTunes/Steam console, like the rumors about Apple and Steam teaming up are pointing to, I'm listening... but I'll probably just build a PC anyway.

apple fans spend $600+ easy!
http://www.techradar.com/ne...

A $600 console could work for them.

KingPin1768d ago (Edited 1768d ago )

i take it those were the same people moaning about the $500 launch PS3 price. you know, the ones that came with backward compatibility, 4x USB slots and a card reader.

but if Apple throws something half as good at the same price its like the most "uber-awesome-must-have&a mp;q uot; gadget of the millennium.

sikbeta1768d ago

lol why $600, when they can ask for $1800? and they know the i-zealots will buy the damned thing

O-T

"Revolutionary" = Ipad4 same s*** different year, trolololol :P

a console isnt revolutionary anymore. Its a tv set. Whats wrong with this website, anytime anyone has new hardware it must be a console?

mushroomwig1769d ago

I doubt there's any room in the market for another games console. Over saturation could create another crash like in the 80s.

I think its going to be a TV. I think thats the most logically aspect of the market Apple could easily breach and make a HUGE profit off of. iTV... apps on your TV with browsing etc and connect to all your apple devices. If that's not what they are planning they need to hire me :P!

xVeZx1769d ago

that would be cool...maybe even a touch screen tv with an ipad/phone interface lol...

GanjaMan1769d ago (Edited 1769d ago )

they cant call it iTV cause 'iTV' has been a big tv channel in the UK for the last 60 years so i really doubt apple could steal the name from them, maybe apple will call it iTELEVISION?

edit: reply was ment for the guy below 'ulf' not u lol

Ulf1769d ago (Edited 1769d ago )

iTV wouldn't be revolutionary, considering that a TV + console will probably be cheaper, as well as more functional.

It seems like a likely place to go, but it'll be a flop, if they go there. They should call it the iLisa.

This story is a few days old! The 'revolutionary' product was in fact a yacht for Steve Job's family, and was working with them....not Apple

cheetorb1769d ago (Edited 1769d ago )

Considering Apple uses the word "revolutionary" every year for every upgraded device...it's kind of lost it's meaning.

They should say, "We gots some real Razzle Dazzle for your sheep asses, so start saving Bitches!"

I should apply for a marketing position with them.

Uh oh..I smell some iTrolls disagreeing with me! Like I really care!!
