Reuters: Videogame publisher Electronic Arts has begun laying off staff at its Montreal game studio in its latest round of jobs cuts, less than a month after former Chief Executive John Riccitiello abruptly resigned.
I wish EA would sell some of its IP rather than continue to cut jobs to raise cash. For example, give (sell) the rights to Ultima back to Richard Garriott (Lord British), to provide just one example. It's sad to see projects and companies gobbled up by EA and then fizzle out.
