Highest average speed in the U.S - 941KB/s
Normal average speed in Japan - 92MB/s

"USA, Stuck in 1998 since 2012"

Edit: Oh yeah almost forgot, U.S customers also pay on average about 3x as much per month for their internet connection.

It's about an average of ~750KB(bytes)/s in Australia :(

We also get severe data caps and pay a lot for it.

Indeed. As of right now though our government is rolling out a nation broadband network which is supposed to give speeds up to 100mbps to 93% of the population; but data caps remain the same.
