Senator Wants To Make It Illegal For Employers To Ask For Your Facebook Password

Forbes : In their efforts to vet applicants, some companies and government agencies are going beyond merely glancing at a person’s social networking profiles and instead asking to log in as the user to have a look around.

i guess password is meant only for privacy , disclosing of a password shouldn't be done at any cost . while facebook wants a law for this , that a very good move.

facebook has nothing to do with the company.

what i do in my spare time away from work is none of my employers business. i do not sit on facebook at work. my personal life is just that personal.

Why would it be otherwise? Nobody has any right to ask for your password.
