UK Scientists Develop Printed Ink Eraser 'Un-Printer'

Gadgehit writes: "Researchers at the University of Cambridge have developed a technology that allows you to re-use paper that has previously been printed on. The technology, dubbed ‘un-printing’ by the researchers, uses laser ablation with bursts of green laser to removes the toner from the paper, whilst leaving the paper intact."

Very interesting piece of tech, but I doubt it will be used widely. Kinda like LightScribe tech. One company will probably license it and then never let anyone else get a hold of it.
