Voiceless Comedian Performs Stand-up Routine With Help Of iPad

NRM: "Lee Ridley, also known as the 'Lost Voice Guy' performed his very first stand-up comedy routine in Sunderland earlier this month - something that he didn't even imagine happening since he can't actually speak.

Ridley has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, and uses a Lightwriter type-to-speech device to speak for him most of the time; but not his show. He opted, instead, to take an iPad on-stage, as it offered a clearer speaking voice and greater ease of copying and pasting his pre-written material." (Culture, iPad)
