I really liked Chrome when it came out, but stuck with Firefox as a lot of sites I visited didn't display correct. Guess I should give Chrome another go around now.

Yeah I tend to use either one. But I still prefer Firefox's addons over Chrome's.

I used to love firefox but it runs so slow now. It just feels bloated and it really shouldn't. I wish they'd fix some of the problems it was having because then I'd be happy using it again.

Firefox would also be better if they weren't pushing through updates that make you wait. Chrome does that in the background.

I only use firefox on streaming websites since it's version of ad-block plus removes ads from the stream.

I'm using firefox mostly, sometimes chrome. Firefox should keep it simple like before and stop adding things that will make the browser seems like it's loading something heavy.

It's weird to hear about these issues you guys are having, I've never had an issue with Firefox. I use Chrome every once in a while but it doesn't run as fast on my system.

I still use FF mostly because of Ad-block +, WoT and NoSrcipt.
Flash block is also good for holding off unwanted video playback in multiple tabs.

I used FireFox for years but once I tried Chrome I never went back. And believe me, I tried to go back but couldn't. XD

Chrome has a cleaner and more intuitive interface, everything from bookmarks to browsing history, favorite sites, recently opened tabs, etc. it's so incredibly convenient and comfortable. And to that add the built-in flash, translator, the fact that everything updates in the background and the speed and what we have here is easily the best browser right now. Period.

I still use Fire Fox, and don't have a problem with it. It's a shock to me that it is in trouble

Stating that Firefox is dead, brings a graph to show its uses of people in the UNITED STATES, but above that they call it 'GLOBAL STATS'. As if United States is the only place on the globe, I lol'd.

Get ACTUAL global stats, aka what % of people in europe, japan, hell, even CANADA. How much they use each viewer, then it will be a factual article. -_-

I've been using "Firefox" since the very first day i could, but now that i have switched over to "Chrome" i will say that it's much, much faster than "FireFox".

The only time I ever have an issue with FireFox is when I'm using N4G's forums, and I've begun to think it's actually a problem on N4G's end. I keep Chrome installed solely for that problem.

Any speed difference between Chrome and FireFox is negligible at best, and Chrome still does not have NoScript. It has some very lackluster clones, but until it has the real deal, it will never be my default browser.

Who still uses IE? xD

Well Google Chrome is the best browser [IMO] out there and the decline in the popularity of FireFox shows that Chrome is getting more popular day by day.

Firefox's recent updates have been bugging lately. It now crashes for no reason at all and sometimes hangs for no reason.

Firefox is by the far the best browser on the market. Read the discussion. For multitab users it is way ahead of Chrome. And the newest 10 is very stable. I personally use Nightly which is the x64 nightly build and it is doing well lately. People are so lame. Chrome is garbage and Google is not to be trusted.

Does chrome have equivalents for noscript and video downloader yet?

used to use and love firefox, but overtime it has just grown more clunky and slow so when i switched to chrome last year it was like a breath of fresh air with how fast and simple it is.

I use Firefox mainly as it has the best FTP support. IE is just an oddball, MS set the layout format that nearly all other browsers use then they alter their layout so it just feels wrong.

Yeah shame with FF. Used to have been good. I will NOT trust google though. They can take a long walk off a short pier. People should wise up. We do not want to make another mistake like MS and have all the power shift to google. They are far worse than any company out there with privacy and adware. How do you think they make all their money?

If Chrome had the same variety of "add-ons" as Firefox (which to my knowledge it still lacks) I'd use it.

I converted to Chrome a while back but switched back to FF once certain forums refused to load at all on Chrome and still prefer FF.

Only problem i have now is sometimes when i open a link in a new tab i instantly get Server Not Found and have to click the green Try Again icon 3-4 times before it decides to eventually load the page up.

Other than that though, FF > Chrome for me still.

No one can say that firefox is dea .we can say that is just going through bad time.We all kow that what Firefox is.

Declining in popularity doesn't necessarily mean declining in quality. For me, firefox will always be the classic browser. I don't like Chrome's dumbed down UI - I can never find anything. Give me a File, Edit, Tools menu any day!

Speed wise, I can't say I notice a difference between Chrome and Firefox. Maybe it matters on slower connections but I have 100mbps and one of the fastest routers you can get right now.

I like firefox for it's extensions. Adblock, downthemall, youtube downloader, tineye and greasemonkey are too good to give up.

I does use a ton of memory though. I've never understood why it's been like that in every version.

Firefox is far from dead, Google is ok for regular users, but as a web designer, there's no way I could change FF. Its extensions are far better for productivity, and even for hobbies. But the regular user will be happy with just the speed of chrome... sadly, that's not my case.

FF isn't dead, it's just more... specialized.

I love the Firefox GUI.
